Why You Should Archive Orders & Jobs in CarShipIO

Archiving old records isn’t just a cleanup task — it has a real impact on how fast and smoothly your system works:

  •  Faster page loading when opening Orders, Jobs, Reports, or Settings

  •  Quicker filtering and searching across large datasets

We recommend keeping only the last 3–4 months of active orders and archiving the rest. Here's how:

How to Archive Orders and Jobs in CarShipIO

  1. Go to "All Orders" or "All Jobs"
From the left-side menu, open the Orders or Jobs section.

    Use Filters (Optional)
Filter by status or date range to find older records (e.g., Delivered jobs, Paid Orders, etc).
At the bottom of the page, you can change the number of records displayed to 50 or 100 — this will make the archiving process faster and more efficient. Increase the page size to 100 records per page for quicker bulk actions.

  2. Select Records to Archive
Use the checkboxes to select which records you want to archive.

  3. Open Actions and Select "Archive"
Once selected, click the "Archive Selected" button at the top of the list.

  4. Confirm
A confirmation will pop up — click "Yes" to archive.

Done! Those records will be moved to the Archived section and will be available anytime under Archived Filter.
