Tags are a powerful tool to help you organize and manage your orders and jobs more effectively. With CarShipIO, you can easily create and customize tags to suit your specific needs.
Follow these simple steps to create and use tags on the order side:


Creating Tags

Navigate to Settings:

  • Go to MY > Settings in your CarShipIO dashboard.
  • Scroll down the page until you find the "Tags" menu.
  • Click on the option to add a new tag.
  • Name Your Tag: Give your tag a meaningful name. Ensure the name has a minimum of 3 characters.

  • Pick a Color: Use the color picker to assign a color to your tag. You can choose any color you want to make your tags visually distinct. Make sure you save the settings after you add the tag.


Using Tags

Once you have created and saved your tags, you can start using them to categorize and filter your orders. 

You can apply tags in a few ways:
1. Create an Order or Job:

In the creation form, look for the "Tags" field. Here, you can enter or select the relevant tags for the job.

2. Edit Menu:

  • Edit the order in VIEW> Dropdown
  • In the edit menu, find order details and select 1 or multiple tags. 
  • Save the changes to apply the tag to the order.


    This will apply the tag to the order simultaneously.


3. Adding Tags Using the Action Menu:

You can quickly apply tags to one or multiple jobs at once by following these steps:

  1. Check the box next to the order(s) or job(s) you want to tag.
  2. Open the Action Menu: Click the "Action" button at the top of the screen.
  3. Choose "Add Tag": From the dropdown menu, select "Add Tag" (as shown in the image).
  4. Apply Tags: Choose the relevant tag(s)



Filter  by Tags

    

Tags allow you to quickly filter and sort your records. By using tags, you can view only the records that meet certain criteria, making it easier to manage your workflow and priorities.
